Day 1

So what is the hardest thing about day 1…..  The weigh in!

Yup… Woke up this morning and weighed and measured myself.  The numbers are just that, numbers.  I am not upset by them because I know they don’t define me.  With that said, I’m not thrilled with them.  However, if you don’t know where you are starting from then you can’t celebrate your victories along the way!

So here are my stats:

Weight: 174.5 lbs

Measurements:   Chest: 37′   Waist: 30″   Right bicep: 12/5″   Left bicep: 12″   Hips: 41.5″ Right Thigh: 25.5″   Left Thigh: 26″

Yup!  Fat bottomed girls we make that rocking world go round!

Started my day with a big glass of distilled water mixed with Himalayan Sea Salt.  All of the water you drink on the reset is set up like this.  Distilled water is water that has the impurities removed.  The major goal of the reset is to help you remove the toxins from your body.  So drinking regular water would be a no no.  However, water naturally has minerals in it that are good for us, so by adding in the Sea Salt you are adding back in the minerals that you want without all of the toxins that you don’t… And no… You can’t taste the salt.  You add only 1/4 tsp to and entire gallon of water…. And yes… You drink the entire gallon each day….minimally!

I love the food on the reset.  It makes it feel like you are not on a special program.  This morning I had oatmeal with apples, for lunch I had a big salad with homemade Greek style dressing (delicious!), and dinner was black beans and rice with salsa, corn and avocado in a taco.  Everything was really delicious.

The toughest part of this plan is all of the food prep.  You have to schedule your time and plan out your food.  Oddly, that is one of the things that I like about it.  If I have to follow a plan then I want it to teach me something.  Teach me how to make the food on my own so that I don’t rely on a program in the future.  I appreciate that this does that.  I also appreciate that I have a dishwasher!  sheesh!  🙂

Day 1 done…20 to go!

    • I was referring to tap water. It does not go through the same purification process and can contain trace amounts of fluoride, microorganisms, or nitrates. Bottled water is tougher because it takes many forms.

1 to 2 tsp in 8 oz of water, with a slice of Lemon and honey to taste (can be in hot water as a morning substitute for coffie). It is suppose to be a cleansing healing, and energizing drink.
It has what they call “mother” unpurified and filtered sediment from the apple cider.
