Hello! I’m Jenny, I live in New York with my husband Ken, my teenage step-son Jalen, and our two rescue mutts Midnight and Duncan.  I have been a lot of things in my life: a student, an athlete, a college coach, a fundraiser, a teacher, and educational leader, and a fitness/health coach.  All of those things have 1 thing in common: the need to interact with people around a common to make our lives better.  As you can see from that brief outline of my life I don’t like to sit still in one career or activity too long.  I constantly want to grow and stretch myself out of my comfort zone so that I can be better then I was then previous day.  That is what this site is for me.  A venue to push myself out of my comfort zone so that I can grow.

As a fitness/health coach I have transformed my life in many ways.  I have taken control of my diet and fitness and it has had a significant impact on the people I love.  Together my husband and I have lost over 100 pounds.  I am so grateful for this life we are creating and I know I owe a huge part of that to Beachbody. I started my journey with Beachbody years ago, when I purchase P90X.  As an ex-athlete I was tired of being out of shape and feeling miserable.  However, like most people that buy products from infomercials, I bought it…. started it…. and then left it alone!  I finished 60 days and stopped.  So what did I do?  I got lazy and frustrated and eventually bought another program from another infomercial.  This time it was Insanity.  Once again…. 30 days in and then nothing!  I was having serious commitment issues and was frustrated doing it on my own.  Then a friend reached out to me and asked me if I wanted some support.  I was struggling with my weight.  I was struggling with motivation.  I was struggling with self-image.  Of course I wanted support!  I was so grateful to have someone else there checking in and motivating me, even if it was just online.  It made all the difference.   She not only helped me finish both programs but she helped me regain the confidence and motivation I needed to take control of all aspects of my life.

This gave me the confidence to really dig deeply into my diet.  I saw amazing results with my fitness routines.  I was stronger and faster then I had been in years, however, I still didn’t look the way I wanted.  I researched a ton of books, from the China Study and Forks over Knives to Oprahs Best Life Diet.  What I knew was I didn’t want a quick fix.  I wanted to take control of my health for the long term.  I always thought I ate well but I realized I was inconsistent and lying to myself as I was snacking and indulging on desserts.  So I gave Shakeology a try and switch to a whole foods diet.  I have never seen results like this in my life.  I got to weight numbers I had never seen in my life and I was full of energy and positivity.  I believe whole heartedly in what Hippocrates said, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”  Exercise is important, but exercise without proper nutrition is

This process has encouraged me to share my story and so here I am shouting across the internet. This is why I became a coach. I loved what Beachbody was doing for me.   It truly changed my life and it is helping me get the body that I had always wanted. Better yet, it is giving me the motivation to continue to grow my mind and spirit as well.  I once again believe that I can be and do anything.  I believe that this feeling is infectious and when positive people ban together that energy is unstoppable.  This is why I love what I do. I get to help people get results, I get to help people change their lives and smash through the barriers that are holding them back.

This page will reflect me continuing along this journey in my fitness, diet, and mental growth.  I will be pushing myself to explore new things and share them with you.  I hope you enjoy the journey with me!
